Your journey begins with a local breakfast then a 15min flight to the municipal airport on the main land or an enjoyable ride pass the beautiful Northern Cayes toward the mainland. Then you will board a private air condition Van that will take you to visit the trading and religious ceremonial center of the Mayan people "Altun Ha." The archeological wonder is home of the famous ornately carved Jade Head of "Kinich Ahau," the Mayan Sun God. The site features two main plazas with some thirteen temples in a pleasant park-like atmosphere. Here you will learn of a magical culture of these mysterious people that once inhabited this ancient site. Lunch is at the famous Maruba Jungle Spa where you will enjoy an amazing dish. After there will be time for a swim in their outdoor pool or you can even enhance your day with an exhilarating experience of a massage.
